I spent my career in education, counseling, and mental health: decades in schools, clinics, and crisis centers helping people figure out what to ask for and where to go when the first door closes. I've also run a business of my own, and I'm a self-starter who knows how to get something off the ground. Now I'm back in Texas, close to my three adult kids, and involved with the League of Women Voters of Denton.

I'm good at navigating systems that aren't built to be navigated, and I don't give up easily. I want to put that to work between you and local government: show up at the council meetings, ask the questions, track what happens, and bring back answers you can actually use. I'm a good team member and I can lead when I need to. Whatever our community decides it cares about is what I'll carry into the room.
